On, Tuesday, August 21st, Bishop Larry D. Trotter will be the recipient of the Chicago Public Schools’ Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Chicago Public School ceremony will take place at Greater Harvest Church, 5141 S. State Street in Chicago at 8:30 AM.

This recognition is special to Bishop Trotter because he is a product of the Chicago Public School System.

Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, Trotter attended Daniel Hale Williams Elementary School and Lindblom Technical High School.  The Chicago Public School System was very instrumental in the molding and shaping of Larry Trotter as a young adult.

Trotter’s educational background helped to lay a strong foundation for him along with all he learned at home from his mother, the late Dorothy E. Trotter.

Bishop Trotter is very concerned about the youth in Chicago and on Sunday August 19th, Bishop Trotter delivered a special message to Chicago’s youth during all three of his services at Sweet Holy Spirit Church-Chicago

Bishop is honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award and is encouraged as he continues to pour into young people in the Chicago-land area and across the country.
