Join actor and international DJ Idris Elba as he sits down with fans live on UStream today at 4pm PT / 7pm ET. Idris will be chatting with fans about his music and previewing new tracks from his South African-inspired house music EP, Supersonic, due out in October under his DJ moniker 7Wallace. Idris recorded, mixed, and mastered the 5 track EP using a mobile studio in South Africa where he is currently shooting the film, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

The first single from Supersonic will be, “Robot,” a fun, funky tune that was inspired by his recent performance in Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, where his character asks Charlize Theron’s character if she is a robot.

During the UStream chat, Idris will also be talking about his new documentary, How Clubbing Changed the World, the anticipated sequel to the much talked about How Hip-Hop Changed the World. The 2-hour doc, airing this Friday on BBC’s Channel 4, features insights from some of dance music’s biggest names, including David Guetta, will.i.am, Paul Oakenfold, Armand Van Helden, and many more.
