Musical sensations ROMANS are back in action, just in time to cool off your Summer with a brand new single. Unveiling the second track in their expanding songbook and upcoming album, the band are about to draw you in even closer to their phenomenon. “Somedays,” is a gorgeous piece blending a whole lot of glam-infused rock edge with a dash of Ziggy Stardust and Roy Orbison on the side. An intriguing combination to say the least. Are you in?
Brightly strummed guitars work perfectly with singer Jeremy Fury’s high vocal tones and subtle chorus harmonies. Echoing guitar solos and light keys round out “Somedays,” creating an unforgettable song that will stop you dead in your tracks.
Romans gives a whole new meaning to the Rock N’ Roll genre as they incorporate the best parts of music’s past (50’s Doo Wop, 60’s Brit-Rock, and 70’s Glam), alongside a resonating new sound that combines these forces, which seem to bring every note to life.
“If you go far enough into the future and look back at a specific period from the past, everything seems to blend together,” Fury says.
Romans came together when Jeremy Fury (Singer for Ohio-based band, We Are the Fury) and Craig Bonich (Guitarist of Head Automatica and Jaguar Love), met on the road. With the direction of Fury’s vision and Bonich’s support, it wasn’t long before the two hit it off while on tour with their respective bands. Coming together, the two are able to bring a musical presence so powerful, that it proves to be a tasty treat for your ears.
Produced by Manny Nieto (The Breeders, Health) and Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Von Bondies), Fury is excited to see the past and present meeting in the middle, and so are music critics and fans alike.
Romans strive for a timeless sound that knows no boundaries. A refreshing twist on current Rock n’ Roll, the band plays with 100% heart and soul. With elements of The Rolling Stones and a nod to T-Rex and Ziggy Stardust era David Bowie, there is no limits to what Romans will create. Check out the infectious new single “Somedays,” and find out what has everyone talking about Romans!
