Electric Medication shows Vulture Kult as a no-frills rock band. The jangly guitars meet with perfectly punctual drums to craft a track that will immediately tattoo itself into the minds of listeners. Vultures From Above open up with intrepid guitars, to which the drums fresh out the overall beast. No vocals are needed for the first thirty seconds of the track, a tactic that allows listeners to hear the unparalleled quality of the band.

The Motorhead-esque vocals that are presented here make for another perfect piece of seventies-infused rock. Avenue H. is a high-water mark for the band as they establish a considerably different feel for this track than what listeners had previous heard. This effort places Vulture Kult into a more Alice Cooper meets Brownsville Station groove; the same hooky arrangements and charismatic vocals are maintained. Go Loose showcases Vulture Kult’s intensity, as the track will appease even those hard to please fans of Anthrax or Clutch.

Welcome To The Land of the Dead is the longest track on Don’t Let Rock n’ Roll Ruin Your Life, and it allows Vulture Kult the opportunity to add further layering and complexity to their repertoire. Make it a point to see Vulture Kult live; I believe the band would be able to be that much more visceral and hitting in a live format. Check out their websites (linked above) for more information about the band and their upcoming plans.
