AVAN LAVA Release “Somebody To Love Me” (Mark Ronson Cover) in Celebration of W Hotel Singapore Opening
Premiered by VIBE Magazine HERE

Brooklyn’s AVAN LAVA Headline Music Hall of Williamsburg Tomorrow, Friday October 26th
(+ next NYC show is 12/1 @ Brooklyn Museum)

Last weekend, AVAN LAVA performed live at the opening of W Hotel Singapore with Mark Ronson DJ’ing the event, and they revealed a never-before-heard cover of Ronson’s dance track, “Somebody to Love Me” in celebration of the W’s ongoing commitment to supporting the arts through introducing the best new music to their hotel guests.

VIBE Magazine premiered “Somebody To Love Me” (Mark Ronson Cover) HERE saying: “The ever-dapper Mark Ronson took to the turntables this week for a stylish kickoff soiree, celebrating the grand opening of W Hotel Singapore. Ronson brought along Brooklyn native band, AVAN LAVA to perform this never-before-released cover of the producer’s “Somebody to Love Me.” The track pays loyal homage to an era when Shelter parties reigned supreme in the ‘90s. The disco elements evoke visions of a veritable melting pot filled with dance music devotees from all walks of life, in all sizes and colors. The sunny beats and uplifting lyrics proves that smart music, is often birthed through restraint. It is the simplicity that lies within the loops of “Somebody to Love Me” that makes it a smile-inducing, body-grooving happy track.”

AVAN LAVA released their Flex Fantasy EP (free download HERE) with the instant club hit “It’s Never Over” (music video HERE) earlier this year and are going into the studio to record their debut album in the next year.
