Reformed “Kings of Boston Hardcore” – DYS – today preview their latest release for Bridge 9 Records on PunkNews.org
“True Believers” will be released for sales and streaming on all leading Digital Music platforms October 23rd.  However, fans can stream the song for free starting today on PunkNews.org.
This single will be followed by a collected EP of the band’s Digital-only releases and will feature alternative mixes and versions.  Look for an announcement soon regarding release date and track details.
 DYS will be playing several shows and making appearances on the West Coast in November in honor of this release and the “xxx All Ages xxx” Boston Hardcore documentary that sparked their reunion in 2010.
  • November 9th – Post-screening QA with Director Drew Stone at the world-famous Egyptian Theater
  • November 10th – After party for the movie’s screening at the Key Club on the Sunset Strip with Bridge 9 label-mates Antidote, Visual Discrimination and Misrule
  • November 11th – First Orange Country show ever at the Tiki Lounge in Costa Mesa with Antidote, Soul Search, Visual Discrimination and AggroCulture US
DYS is vocalist Dave Smalley (ex- Dag Nasty, All, Down by Law) bass player Jonathan Anastas (ex-Slapshot), guitar player Franz Stahl (Scream, ex-Foo Fighters), drummer Al Pahanish Jr. (ex- Powerman 5000) and guitar player Adam Porris (ex-Far From Finished).  The track was was Produced by Andrew “Mudrock” Murdock (Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Riverboat Gamblers), recorded at his Hobby Shop Studio, West in Los Angeles, and mastered by Dave Shultz at D2.
