Continuing on its journey through the Pacific Northwest the Spotify Bus next made its way to North Portland, during the week of MUSICFEST NW. Spotify met up with Radiation City for an intimate performance in the city’s Peninsula Park. Watch them perform “Hide From The Night” off their Cool Nightmare EP, out on Tender Loving Empire.

After making their SXSW debut this March, the dream-pop quintet was deemed one of Portland’s ‘Best New Bands’ for 2012 by Willamette Week, and recently named one of TIME’s ’11 Great Bands You Don’t Know (But Should)’. The band is currently working on the follow up full-length to their last year’s The Hands That Take You debut. The forthcoming album is set for a Spring 2013 release.

“…a languid pop sound that is evocative of groups that came before, yet still is very

much their own.” – TIME

“Their dreamy, faraway sound reminds us of a sunshiny marriage between Reading Rainbow and the Dum Dum Girls…Either way, let’s just say it’s really good.”- NYLON

“you could call their sound vintage, but the better word is timeless.” – Refinery29
