Issues, fronted by former Woe Is Me vocalists Tyler Carter and Michael Bohn, has announced a November 13 release date for the band’s debut Velocity/Rise Records effort, Black Diamonds.

Black Diamonds is now streaming here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKcGEIO7V0rWjKBzp2wZMUKPNXuwg8xi4.

In a message to fans, the band explains the meaning behind the EP’s title:

To all our fans, you are all fucked up, you are all struggling with something, you aren’t perfect, and you all have issues. The only time we feel like we belong as people is when we are on stage looking back into your faces and a sudden sense of purpose connects us together as if we were looking in a mirror. We have chosen to open up with you guys on this album, and be absolutely 100% ourselves. Some days we feel broken, and some days we wake up feeling amazing! That’s human nature. Sometimes we feel like diamonds in the rough, and sometimes we are nothing but black diamonds. Edgy, and mysteriously dark, with a sense of beauty as well. That’s how we envision ourselves, and you are all a part of us. Acknowledge your issues, and let’s overcome them together. Music is the cure.

This record is for you. Love, ISSUES
