Kent, OH pop punk band Light Years will head out on tour supporting Chicago, IL’s Real Friends on their winter tour which kicks off December 26 and runs through January 13.

Light Years recently entered Pennsylvania’s Studio 4 with producer Will Yip (The Wonder Years, Circa Survive, Title Fight) to record their debut full-length, slated for a spring release via Escapist Records. The band has been documenting the recording process for a series of “Behind The Booth” updates on Propertyofzack.com, the first of which can be viewed here: http://propertyofzack.com/post/35346286675/poz-behind-the-booth-light-years-update-i.

The LP will be the follow up to their 2012 EP, “Just Between Us” which they supported with successful US and European tours alongside Pentimento and the Property of Zack sponsored summer tour with Citizen and Turnover.
