Creep Van is a tale about a possessed vehicle that would like to see nothing better than the brutal dispatch of anyone that attempts to change it. An unlikely band of people are saddled with the gargantuan chore of destroying the titular mean of conveyance despite the lethality of the van. The DVD version of Creep Van benefits from an incredibly sharp transfer that is further bolstered through the presence of an audio track that ensures that every terrified scream and bit of dialogue can be filmed. The cast consists of a number of up and coming actors (Bruian Kolodziej, Gerald Emerick, Jason McCoy) that do a stellar job of endearing themselves to viewers. Fans of classic horror films will appreciate the tale that is told during Creep Van; the title straddles the line between Christine and Rubber.
The special effects that are utilized during Creep Van belie that low-budget status of the film. There are scenes here that are gruesome but honestly seem as if they could happen in real life.
There are a number of additional features that have been added to the DVD version of Creep Van. The original trailer provides viewers with the highlights of the title as Scott W. McKinlay viewed them, while the deleted scene provides additional backstory to the actions that take place. I believe that the inclusion of the audio commentary will provide viewers with the best value, as it provides a solid amount of trivia and further context by which to enjoy the film. Make sure to pick up a copy of Creep Van at any well-stocked independent video store or at any reputable online retailer.
