After recently announcing the US release of his new LP Pale Green Ghosts for Partisan Records on May 14th, the followup to his critically acclaimed 2010 debut Queen of Denmark, John Grant is back today to share a remix of his most recent single “Black Belt.” Where the original was upbeat disco house, Baltimore duo Dungeonesse (Jon Ehrens of The Art Department and Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak) slow the track down, transforming the original’s sobering punchiness into a late night narcotic feel. In addition to sharing this new remix, John Grant is thrilled to announce a headlining New York City show at Le Poisson Rouge on April 25th, in addition to a full run of European dates.
