“While their inspirations are evident (Neil Young, Bob Dylan, The Band) The Giving Tree Band puts a new spin on the old sound of Americana.” – Relix

The Giving Tree Band have toured extensively over the past few years, playing anywhere their path takes them. Be it a road house, large scale music festival, dive bar, or the Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center, they’ve humbly brought their music to those who would listen. Their music has brought them wide ranging praise from many corners, including Acoustic Guitar magazine who describe them as covering a “wide swath of the classic rock pantheon-such as Neil Young, Bob Dylan, the Band, the Grateful Dead, and the Beatles,”and Michael Jonathan, host of PBS’s “Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour” who commended them for embodying “the spirit of Pete Seeger with the musical abilities of The Band and audaciousness of The Avett Brothers.”
