MUTILATION RITES TO PERFORM WITH CANNIBAL CORPSE

Cincinnati, Ohio should be on the lookout, as the acclaimed New York “filthy black metal” quartet MUTILATION RITES will perform there as part of the second annual “Death on the Vine” festival alongside Cannibal Corpse, Napalm Death, Immolation, Origin and several more. The show — which will serve as the local stop of this year’s Decibel Magazine tour — is set to take place at Bogart’s on June 8th, shortly after the band completes their current headlining U.S. run with recent Relapse signees Inter Arma.

The band collectively commented on the festival stating, “We are all excited to share the stage with such a legendary lineup.” Tickets for the festival are available now through Live Nation HERE.

MUTILATION RITES are currently terrorizing the U.S. with “garagey murk and filthy grandeur” (Chicago Reader) on a headlining jaunt that recently saw them perform several times at Austin’s well-known South By Southwest festival. In addition to “Death on the Vine,” the group will also perform at the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival in the coming weeks. The band continues to support their debut 2012 full-length, “Empyrean,” which appeared on several “year-end” and “best of” lists, including Pitchfork, Stereogum and Brooklyn Vegan. “Empyrean” is currently available on CD and 180-gram black vinyl through the Prosthetic webstore HERE. You can also download the digital version on Amazon MP3 or iTunes!
