Despite having all their gear stolen just a week after bassist/guitarist Kristian Dunn recovered from a skiing accident that derailed their winter tour, instrumental duo El Ten Eleven aren’t letting the recent obstacles deter them. In the midst of rebuilding their complex and intricate live set up, today they have released both their remix album, Transitions Remixed, and the debut EP, Splintered Selves, by Nude Pop, the latest signing to their Fake Record Label, as well as launched their two month spring tour. Both releases, which will be made available digitally worldwide on April 9, are now available exclusively via Fake Record Label’s Bandcamp at:

Transitions Remixed is comprised of remixes of songs from El Ten Eleven’s fifth album, Transitions, released this past fall. The remix LP features remixes by electronic producer Com Truise, Anticon knob twiddlers D33J and Odd Nosdam, dreamwave musician Slow Magic, hip-hop producer Amp Live (of Zion I), art collective Steed Lord, electro producer Mad V (formerly of Villains) and El Ten Eleven’s own Kristian Dunn among others. Yesterday, Noisey.com premiered Odd Nosdam’s beat heavy remix of “Thanks Bill” as well as D33J’s beautiful version of “Lullaby.” The songs are available for free download at http://noisey.vice.com/blog/el-ten-eleven-got-all-their-gear-stolen-but-they-still-gave-us-two-exclusive-downloads Today, XLR8R.com is offering up the exclusive download of Com Truise’s synth-fueled remix of “Thanks Bill”:
Last week, as an immediate effort to raise funds to get new gear, El Ten Eleven launched a pre-order of Transitions Remixed, complete with several packages containing signed albums, posters, a meet and greet with the band and lifetime guest list. The duo of Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty were floored with the amount of support from their fans, in both donations and messages of encouragement and condolences. Because of the fans, they were able to raise enough money to get back on the road, and despite all the obstacles, only had to reschedule the first two shows, which will now take place at the end of the tour. The two month North American tour, which includes two weeks of dates supporting UK electronic artist Bonobo, including at the 2,000 capacity Warfield in San Francisco and a pair of night in Los Angeles at The Fonda and El Rey, will now kick off tonight, April 2 in Oklahoma City. El Ten Eleven’s recent signee Nude Pop will open up all headline El Ten Eleven shows while Slow Magic will serve as direct support on the first leg and Ghostly International beat maker Michna will jump on as direct support on the third leg, following the Bonobo dates.

“This situation is so horrible and we here at team El Ten Eleven were feeling so much anger and hatred at the jacksasses who did this it was hard to see straight,” said Dunn. “But this outpouring of support from you guys has straightened things out for us and now we feel better about humanity. Seriously. It’s hard for us to thank every fan but please know every one of you is extremely important to us and we are reading everything you send.”

The thieves who stole the gear haven’t been caught yet but help and support has been coming from all over the place. After Mark Zuckerberg reposted the band’s picture of a police officer lifting the suspect’s finger prints off the band’s car window, it spread wildly across Facebook and has been Liked more than 2000 times: http://on.fb.me/14K0heE
