Bacardi Pineapple Fusion Review

Bacardi Pineapple Fusion is a much-needed addition to flavored rums. While the traditional favorite has been coconut rum, the pineapple twist that Bacardi has entered into the marketplace is stellar. The spirit will modify considerably any normal mixed drink utilizing rum, while there is enough of a body and unique flavor to the Pineapple Fusion that it tastes great in the rocks or sipped neatly. The pineapple that is utilized in Bacardi Pineapple Fusion is much more natural feeling that other flavored efforts; there is more of the tartness and acidity that one will actually experience when they bite into a pineapple.

Bacardi Pineapple Fusion’s best presence comes in the classic rum and cola drink; for an additional level of complexity to that mixed drink, pick up a vanilla or cherry cola. Bacardi’s suggestion to place the Pineapple Fusion alongside lemonade turns the typical summer drink into something utterly divine, a perfect sipping drink for when one is sitting outside tanning or hanging out with friends. The slightly lower alcohol content when compared to a straight rum makes this spirit eminently shot-worthy; one will be able to down a few shots with the greatest of ease.

Bacardi Pineapple Fusion can be purchased at any well-stocked liquor store and place that is allowed to sell spirits. The rum can be purchased for around $15-20, but prices will vary between states. Keep an eye out for further additions to the Bacardi line; their website is a great resource for all of the latest news, mixed drink options, and other events that they company may be sponsoring.

  1. IBacardi Pineapple Fusion over ice is “OK” …meaning the pineapple taste waxy/artifical. It might taste better in a mixed drink but i feel since its mixed already it should taste it’s best straight.
