Irish quartet, Kodaline is set to release their LOVE LIKE THIS EP, on July 16th via RCA Records. The Love Like This EP was released in the UK and debuted in the top 10 on the iTunes album chart and reached #2 on iTunes Alternative album chart. Additionally, Kodaline will release their debut album, In A Perfect World, in the US on October 8th. The lead single, “All I Want” is available now at all digital providers.

In A Perfect World was released in the UK and Europe last week and debuted at #1 in Ireland, #3 in the UK and in the Top 10 in the Netherlands.  On the iTunes Chart the album debuted in the Top 20 in Singapore (#1), Holland, South Africa, Switzerland, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, France and Sweden.

“All I Want” has received early support from SIRIUS-XM (SPECTRUM and ALT NATION) and has enjoyed several television and ad campaign placements including Google’s 2012 “Year In Review online spot”,an episode of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy, the series premiere for NBC’s new show Ready For Love and was also the featured music bed for the promo spot for ABC’s hit television show Modern Family. Other tracks have also been heard on TBS’s Cougar Town and VH1’s Mob Wives. The compelling and powerful videos for “All I Want” and “High Hopes”, another album highlight, have over 5.8 million views on VEVO.

Hailing from Dublin, Kodaline are childhood friends Steve Garrigan (lead vocals) Mark Prendergast (guitarist), Jason Boland (bassist) and Vinny May (drummer). Steve and Mark met at the age of 7 in the school choir and forged a close musical bond learning to play guitar together, growing up just minutes apart. They encountered Vinny playing with another band in their early teens and quickly recognised his talents. Jason completed the line-up in 2011, and Kodaline was born.

The band was recently nominated for MTV UK’s “Brand New: for 2013”, as well as BBC’s “Sound of 2013.” “All I Want” was a featured track on BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton’s Record of the Week. Their debut single in the UK, “High Hopes” was the highest new entry on the UK singles chart upon release. In Ireland, both “All I Want” and “High Hopes” are certified gold and “High Hopes” was #1 on both the singles and airplay charts. Additionally, “Love Like this was released and reached #2 on the iTunes Alternative singles chart and is now A-listed at both Radio 1 and Absolute and is on the XFM Daytime list.

Critics in the UK are raving about Kodaline. The Daily Telegraph claims, “They have a touch of every epic multi-million-selling outfit around” and have, “sleek, widescreen rock songs to make them big stars in 2013,” while The Guardian states, “Where they’ll be by summer 2014: near the top of the bill at a festival near you, having the words deafeningly sung back at them” the Daily Star raves, “Kodaline are a band that justify the hype.”

The band will play a number of UK and European festivals over the summer which kicked off with a sold out performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam and includes performances at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and are on the bill supporting Bruce Springsteen in London.
