Earlier this month in Minneapolis, MN, Los Angeles rock and roll band FIDLAR wrapped up a massive U.S. headlining tour with The Orwells, selling out more than half of their live dates through out the fall. FIDLAR have quickly developed a reputation for being one of the most energetic live bands on the road, bringing their raucous live set to more than 150 different audiences around the world this year alone.

It was recently announced that FIDLAR will be joining The Pixies for the East Coast leg of their upcoming U.S. tour in early 2014 before heading back into the studio to begin recording the follow up to their 2013 self-titled debut release. Check out a full list of upcoming live dates below, or click HERE.

Never a band to leave fans hanging between albums, the members of FIDLAR have kept busy these past months despite being on tour. FIDLAR is Zac Carper on guitars and vocals, Elvis Kuehn on guitars and vocals, Brandon Schwartzel on bass, and Max Kuehn on drums. Elvis and Zac met at Kingsize Soundlabs in LA and recorded a ton of demos with the band before playing their first live show. Since forming in 2009 the band has played with The Hives, Jeff The Brotherhood, The Delta Spirit, Black Lips, OFF!, Japanther and more. Their debut self-titled full length album was released in the U.S. on January 22nd via Mom + Pop and debuted at #5 on the Billboard Heatseakers Chart, #2 on the Alternative News Artist Chart, and was the #1 most added release at CMJ. SPIN called the album “a stellar debut”, while Rolling Stone quickly named FIDLAR a “Band To Watch”. Noisey praised the band’s “ever-growing catalog of readymade garage-punk classics that draw omnivorously on a half century of bad-ass pop, from Phil Spector to Nirvana to the late, great Jay Reatard.” NME declared them “set to be the most exciting punk band of 2013.”
