f there’s one thing Kitsuné’s renowned for, apart from stylish garb, it’s its flair. So being handed the Parisian label’s latest findings out of the talent brewing in the USA today is a proper treat, as Kitsuné AMERICA, the compilation series, never fails to deliver a fresh and innovative selection of offbeat musical snapshots, even by American standards.

The French imprint, instrumental in putting Two Door Cinema Club, Yelle, Hot Chip and numerous others on the map, is conquering the US, picking up the country’s own local artists where it’s buzzin’. After showcasing Childish Gambino, Toro Y Moi, Theophilus London, Haerts and other prestigious artists on previous Kitsuné AMERICA compilations, this 3rd edition keeps on favouring the thinking-outside- the-box generation, with beats and grooves continuing their growing domination and a slower, cooler vibe for sun-drenched days.

America is feeling adventurous, musicians are letting loose, striking combinations of styles and sounds are taking place, and the audience is listening. A perfect time for boss Gildas to invest in new exciting artists: “We believe in those acts and want to help them develop. Our ear is finely-tuned, we know a good tune when we hear one.”

Kitsuné AMERICA 3 is ideal to stream comfy at home or to drive down Route 66 and experience what it’s all about.

Maison Kitsuné takes over the iconic Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles – a prestigious place steeped in history – to set up a pop-up store from the 14th to the 21st of April 2014.

For this event, Maison Kitsuné’s founders and artistic directors, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, chose suite 100 of the hotel, a hushed setting of 70 square meters with views of the famous “Tropicana” swimming pool.

Entirely decorated with the colours of the brand, this store will display a selection of Maison Kitsuné’s clothing items, such as Kitsuné Tee vintage pieces and exclusive products from the brand’s collaborations. A special T-shirt was created for this occasion taking inspiration from the “Tropicana” pool, which is decorated with an underwater mural painted by David Hockney, a famous pop artist of the sixties.

While Coachella music festival is taking place, the brand kicked things off with a Kitsuné Live showcase in the Spare Room on the 16th of April, and will host a Kitsuné Club Night at Teddy’s on the 18th of April, and a Kitsuné Pool Party on the 20th of April with an exclusive DJ set.

Maison Kitsuné will literally take over Hollywood Boulevard with these three not-to-be-missed events!
