Eric Hutchinson and Tristan Prettyman will launch an extensive U.S. tour on October 27 at Boston’s Royale. As the name suggests, the “City & Sand Tour” will take Eric, a New York City resident, and Tristan, a Southern California native, to some of the country’s most vibrant cities and to some gorgeous beach towns. The run will include a night at New York City’s Highline Ballroom (November 2), a show at the Myth in St. Paul (November 21) and an evening at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles (December 9). The pair’s November 9 show at the Music Farm in Charleston, SC will be streamed live on the Live Nation channel on Yahoo! as part of the Yahoo! Screen concert series, which has featured such artists as Justin Timberlake and John Legend.

Pre-sale tickets for the “City & Sand Tour” go on sale tomorrow, September 9, at 12pm ET from the Applauze app (http://applauze.com/tours/erichutchinson). A limited amount of exclusive VIP packages will also be available during the pre-sale – including VIP meet & greet packages with exclusive backstage performance and an exclusive download of Hutchinson’s Almost Solo in NYC, a month before its release date. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday and Saturday, September 12 and 13. For further details visit www.erichutchinson.com.

“Tristan and I have been friends for a long time and I’ve always wanted to play together,” says Eric Hutchinson. “This tour has been years in the making and finally the stars aligned perfectly. I can’t wait to share the stage with her.”

“I am so psyched to be joining Eric on the road this Fall. I have always admired him as an artist, and he has always been a great friend,” adds Tristan Prettyman. “His shows are high energy, he’s an amazing songwriter, and his voice is one of the best in biz. I’m so happy we are finally making this happen. It’s gonna be a blast!”

Hutchinson is touring in support of his latest album, Pure Fiction. Produced by Jerrod Bettis (Adele, The Lonely Island) and Aben Eubanks (Kelly Clarkson), it debuted in the Top 10 on iTunes’ overall albums chart and in the Top 5 of iTunes’ Pop albums chart.

The official video for Hutchinson’s new single, “A Little More,” premieres today on VEVO. The clip, which was lensed by Justin Coloma, can be viewed HERE. The song, already most added at Triple A, has over half a million plays on Spotify. It was tapped by Netflix for a worldwide advertising campaign, which can be seen HERE, “‘A Little More’ is a kicky return for Hutchinson,” observed Billboard.

Eric recently performed an acoustic version of “A Little More” on NBC’s “TODAY” during Elvis Duran’s “Artist of the Month” segment. When asked what makes Hutchinson stand out, Duran noted, “It’s kind of pure and simple with Eric. When you hear his voice, you’ll hear it – it slices through…Music needs to make you feel things…when you hear this song, you’ll go ‘I get it.'”

Esquire.com said, “He’s got chops… and his sunny lyrics reveal a wry double edge,” Idolator.com called Hutchinson’s music “inescapably catchy” and the Wall Street Journal Speakeasy hailed “Tell The World,” the first single from Pure Fiction, as “joyous.”

Due to popular demand, Hutchinson’s Almost Solo in NYC – a live album that was available to fans for a limited time in 2013 – will be available on iTunes beginning October 7. The physical edition of Almost Solo in NYC will only be sold exclusively at Eric’s live shows.
