Admittedly the appeal for this book is a little narrow. That being said, if you’re a Star Wars fan, My God, this coffee table is nirvana between two covers!

This beautiful, dense hardcover – the fifth in the George Lucas-curated Star Wars art series – collects poster art from the franchise presented in all its full color glory. The book covers all six Star Wars theatrical releases, the Clone Wars animated series and a few collectible posters, from the very first 1975 concept poster drawings and logos up through the last three features (the movies may have been bad, but the art was/is still impressive).

The traditional movie posters are sure to bring back a flood of memories, but it’s the poster art from outside the U.S. (Poland, by the way, may just have the coolest ones) as well-as limited edition fan club prints that make this book worth the price.

Seeing as how just about every other kid who grew up in the ‘70s and ‘80s likely had at least one of these posters hanging on their bedroom wall, maybe the appeal isn’t quite so narrow.
