Fake Soldier, Fallen Soldier has a very street savvy sound to the effort, with some absolute fire that is spat by Tru; there is a quickness and natural feeling to this track that ensures that listeners will be able to keep focused on the rest of the album.

It Doesn’t Matter What I Say builds off of the production work of a Dr. Dre or a young Kanye, with Tru utilizing hints and bits of Del the Funky Homosapien or Talib Kweli. The harmonies that are present in Tru’s vocals create a hooky cut that will bounce around the mind and the hearts of listeners long after the track ceases.

Good Love Hotline features Quis, and the additional feature provides a fullness and completeness to the song that ensures that it could be played on a variety of different rap radio stations. The track slows things up, establishing a Nelly, Ludacris, and Slim Thug sort of sound. The backing arrangement provide ample highlights to the track’s flow. You Mad Or Nah is an interesting effort in the sheer eclectic sound that is achieved; there is fat bass beats, higher treble samples, and drums that create a lush support for Tru’s vocals. Set It Off (HOT HOT HOT) is a dance floor track that takes up the same musical approach of a Juicy J or a Lil Jon while blowing a new breath into the musical style; Tru vs. BMSN is an effort that showcases all facets of Tru and allows him to take a number of different directions for subsequent releases.1406162786
