BIG GIGANTIC is back with a brand new track like their name exudes. “Get On Up” finds BIG G’s Dominic Lalli (saxophonist/producer) and Jeremy Salken (drums) taking it up a notch for the ultimate party-starter featuring their unique style of blending traditional brass and electronic production. “Get On Up” can be downloaded for free now at: biggigantic.net

Along with “Get On Up,” the pair are ready to return to the stage for a short run of headlining dates in February and March, stopping in Austin, Dallas and Chicago.  In late March, BIG GIGANTIC jump back onto the festival circuit to make their first time appearances at Lollapalooza Argentina and Brazil and then later in the spring they’ll appear at Summer Camp Music Festival, Wakarusa, Mountain Jam and Governor’s Ball.

Get an inside look into the festival world of BIG GIGANTIC via the Skrillex & Friends Superjam documentary, captured at last year’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. The doc, available now for free at Uverse at http://uverse.com/bonnaroo, depicts BIG GIGANTIC serving as the band leaders/musical directors for the coming together of some of the world’s best musicians: Lauryn Hill, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Robby Krieger, Zedd, Mickey Hart, Janelle Monae, Warpaint, Chance The Rapper, Thundercat and more.

BIG GIGANTIC is currently featured in the January/February issue of Relix; read the story “Becoming Big Gigantic” here: http://msopr.com/files/relix_january_-_february_issue.pdf

About BIG GIGANTIC:
Formed in 2008, saxophonist/producer Dominic Lalli (classically trained with a master’s degree in jazz from the Manhattan School of Music) and drummer Jeremy Salken interpret traditional DJ-based music with live instruments and have successfully created an innovative, distinct sound that’s all their own. Their transcendent live shows are a showcase of brilliant improvisation and a tightly-knit bond between Salken and Lalli, who breathlessly alternates between keys, sax and laptop, building a futuristic wall of sound that keeps the crowd on its feet. The Boulder, CO-based duo leaves no genre off-limits as they channel everything from funk and dubstep to house and hip-hop. Their latest album, THE NIGHT IS YOUNG, was released in February 2014 as a free download on their website www.biggigantic.net, and has already logged 700,000 downloads to date.  The album marks the fifth album for the duo following Fire It Up (2009), Wide Awake (2009), A Place Behind The Moon (2010) and 2012’s Nocturnal (which has received more than one million downloads to date). BIG GIGANTIC have spent the last few years on various sold-out headlining tours across the country and received rave reviews from their many festival appearances that have included Coachella, Lollapalooza, Ultra Music Festival, Hangout, Austin City Limits, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and Outside Lands among many others.
