Amina begins their Cannibalize CD with I Saw You Float Away, a dreamy track that twinkles with smart instrumentation and good balance between the loud and quiet, dark and light. Hints of OK Computer-era Radiohead and Bjork can be heard.a3665947290_10

Flowering tops out at the two-minute mark but is incredibly rich in terms of arrangement. The band does more with half of a track than many vocal-heavy bands can do in twice of that. Cobblestone Eyes has a shuffling, deliberate sound that will draw all ears to the composition, setting up Amina to have a massive conclusion with While You Were Asleep…. Cannibalize tells a story that all should hear.
