Movement Electronic Music Festival, a showcase of the up-and-comers, local luminaries, pioneers and trailblazers in Techno, House, Hip-Hop and more has partnered again with Red Bull Music Academy to curate a stage during the festival, taking place at Detroit’s legendary Hart Plaza on Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25, 2015. RBMA Radio – a long-standing destination for the best curated live sets, fireside chats and headphone highlights – will be broadcasting selected artists sets from this weekend’s festival at Hart Plaza.
For the past eight years, Red Bull Music Academy has infused new acts to the festival while showcasing groundbreaking artists. This year’s RBMA Stage lineup includes a headlining performance by chart-topping duo Disclosure as part of their traveling Wild Life showcase, featuring Method Man, Octave One and Kerri Chandler, just to name a few. And if those names aren’t enough to leave you insane with excitement (maybe check your pulse?), this year selected fest slots will be live streamed for free exclusively on RBMAradio.com.
The live stream will “celebrate the sounds of Detroit”, combining live streams from the RBMA stage including performances from Ben UFO, Method Man and Detroit’s own Danny Brown. In addition, listeners will have access to archived content such as Fireside Chats from Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, and Carl Craig, as well as mixes from Kyle Hall, Rick Wilhite, Los Hermanos and more throughout the weekend. Viewers can expect a full live stream schedule at RBMAradio.com starting Friday, May 22nd.
