Trumer Pils, a classic pilsner pours with a light yellow coloration and a small amount of off-white head. The effervescence of the beer is considerable, while there is a moderate amount of grain / grass present in the notes. The beer is able to have the crispness of other pilsners along with having a sweeter element that will ensure that individuals come back for more. The small amount of hops that are present in each Trumer Pils provide just enough bitterness to invigorate and keep things interesting throughout; this 26 IBU mark allows all sides of the effort to be well-balanced.

There is a smaller amount of pepper and citrus that can be discerned after the pilsner has time to settle, while the wheat wallop that immediately presented itself begins to fade into the periphery. We were particularly impressed by the fact that Trumer Pils sticks with the German purity laws, meaning that there is only water, hops, malt, and yeast used in the creation of each bottle. With such a wide array of flavors to experience, the simple laundry list of ingredients showcases the masterwork of the brewers.

Trumer Pils would be perfect paired with fish, seafood, chicken, and will even wipe away stronger flavored dishes including lamb, roast pork, and beef. This effort is something that will work well in mixed company as well as around a bonfire. The beer has enough twists and turns that imbibers can continue to pull different facets to the beer out even as they polish off their third or fourth.
