If it were to get stolen, you would lose it all. Many people prefer bringing their cards and leaving their cash at home, but it has been shown that you are more likely to overspend by doing that. It is better to bring one card with some reserve on it, but never take it with you when you go out. That way, you won’t overspend unless there is a real emergency.
