Leave it to a Canadian to come out with one of the year’s best alt country albums.

On ‘Things That Can’t be Undone,’ Alberta native Corb Lund has managed to streamline his sound over the past two decades, settling on

Over 10 songs, Lund and team churn through themes of violence, heartache, love and loneliness. The juxtaposition of putting a raucous track like “Alt Berliner Blues,” right next to a strikingly sweet song like “Alice Eyes” just goes to prove how impressive and expansive Lund has grown as a musician.CorbLund

While last year’s ‘Counterfeit Blues’ was an impressive step forward for Lund, ‘Things that Can’t Be Undone’ is a massive lunge forward. A nearly flawless record from start to finish.
