Which artists are the greatest influences for you and your music?

I have a lot of musical influences, but the biggest are Kanye West, Jay Z, and Marvin Gaye.

Can you describe your creative process and your recording set up for us?

When I make my music sometimes it starts with some ideas sometimes it starts with a blunt, it really all depends on the feelings I am experiencing at the moment. I have a microphone, and avid fast track solo box, laptop, Abelton Live,and a MPC studio, that is my whole studio setup.

You worked with Hopkins and Brown to produce your music; what was the dynamic that you all had?

When I worked with Steve it was appealing because he brought the industry know how and work ethic I was missing,  that helped when it came to pumping out hours in the studio and staying focused and goal oriented.

How have you evolved since your first tracks?

 

Since my first tracks I’ve become more confident which is the biggest change in my music, now I am not afraid to let it all out and give the listener that raw emotion

Which sort of social media website have you had the best successes with? What about these traditionally online services are different from the traditional face to face meeting that musicians utilize?

I really have a lot of success with Soundcloud.  I think it is because unlike face to face meetings people will only listen if they want to and on their own time.  I don’t have to force anyone to lend an ear.

What are the next steps for your career?

The next steps for my career are organize my music shoot some videos and then start systematically releasing new projects until I get the audience I want.
