Los Angeles’ Hipnotics have just released Preacher Man, a single that links together The Clash, The Psychedelic Furs, and early Cure into a swirling mass of guitars, drums, and bold vocals. Preacher Man has it all including an intricate bass line, echoing and authoritative guitar lines, and an on-point drum beat that are all given a highlight at points during this single. Preacher Man_AlbumArtFINALPreacher Man has a harmony that will stick with listeners long after the track has ceased. With such a dynamic sound, I foresee big things from the Hipnotics. Preacher Man is the lead single from the band’s Drunk, Naked & Dreaming LP.
