The End of the Tour (DVD)

Movies based on celebrities are often hit or miss and movies based on literary celebrities even more so, so it’s quite an impressive feat that actors Jason Segel and Jesse Eisenberg were able to turn in a beautifully engaging movie in The End of the Tour out of what was essentially a profile piece for Rolling Stone magazine.

Union Series: Old Blaggard Barleywine

St. Paul’s Summit Brewing Company has created a delectable barleywine that is the perfect thing to stay warm through the increasingly-colder end of autumn. This ruby / dark brown colored-effort hits imbibers over the head with a strong malt backbone, to which dark fruits, a decent alcohol burn, and sugar (Caramel, toffee) elements can all be discerned. There is a decent amount of off-white head that sticks around as one…

M. Del Carpio L.P. Single Review

L.P. by New York’s Martin Del Carpio is a powerful atmospheric track that deftly blends together electronic and organic elements into an effort that provides listeners with incredible depth. Mr. Ray No Room For Bullies CD Review

The titular single from No Room For Bullies is a track that meshes together a wide array of different music styles, with hints of Macklemore, Linkin Park, and Bon Jovi. The narrative weaved through this introductory track has a positive message; one should be empowered by their experience rather than be hurt by bullies.

Winter Ale (Blue Point Brewing Company)

Blue Point Brewing Company’s (Long Island, NY)’s Winter Ale pours with a dark, rich brown coloration and a small amount of tannish head that disappears quickly.
