I am familiar with a great many of the different types of blenders that one can use, from food processors to the normal bowl ones, but I do not believe that I have ever had the chance to use an immersion blender. The immersion blender looks more like a power tool than something that would be in a kitchen, but the rugged styling that Waring puts on their SB10 is essential.

Rather than being crafted out of a grade of plastic that will just crack, the heavy stuff used here alongside thick metal for the actual blender will make this a mainstay of anyone’s space for years to come. The Immersion Blender allows for better mixing of foodstuffs than other similar products. This is due to the fact that it constantly whips up and breaks down pieces of material, while allowing the cook to actually move the blender head. By doing this, the Waring SB10 makes for a more even blending experience. The holes at the bottom of the blender allow the material to aerate, alongside with pushing more material out of the way of the cutting blades.

The type of materials that can be blended here are more numerous than would be present with a traditional blender; the range of motion and power of the SB10 will tear anything down that one wants blended. The price of this blender (Amazon has it for about $40) should make it the next purchase that one has for their kitchen, or as the perfect type of gift for the rapidly upcoming holiday season. Waring has a number of different lines of kitchen goods, so if the Immersion Blender does not stoke your fires, check out any one of their numerous different products and other kitchen tools.
