Cinderella: The Prince’s Side of the Story has Super Why solve the mystery of Little Boy Blue’s disappearance after he comes up missing. Comparing this conundrum to Cinderella’s escape from the ball, Super Why and friends are able to teach viewers how to utilize logic to solve issues. The Boy Who Cried Wolf pushes forth the idea that honesty is the best policy, even in those cases where truth is stranger than fiction. The Prince and the Pauper sets up a story in which Whyatt and Princess Pea wonder how the other one lives. The moral that is taken from this story is that individuals may lead different lives, but should be happy with their situations.

Super Why: Cinderella and other fairytale adventures was released on August 11th and is available from a wide array of physical and online retailers. The Super Why website possesses a number of games, activities, and information for parents and teachers. The Snow White tale is our favorite of the batch, as it provides viewers with a good set of instructions about how to make good decisions. The DVD would be a great purchase for children 3-8; PBS Kids offers the DVD at a price that is approachable for all budgets. The over-two hour runtime of “Cinderella and other fairytale adventures” makes this a smart buy when compared to other childrens’ releases on the market.
