Waiting For The Snowfall is a slow and emotionally intense track that builds into something beautiful. Erik’s vocals cover a tremendous amount of ground, highlighted at all the right points through a perfectly-produced arrangement.

Unapology is a track that blends together bits from the singer-songwriter style with the EDM of David Guetta. Come What May is a single-worthy effort that showcases the sheer ability of Odsell to insert passion into each line. The organic/inorganic dichotomy that is explored during this track pushes each of the elements to a higher plateau; the song is just one of many cuts from Searching For Lost Boys Island that could easily garner radio play. I Surrender slows the tempo down slowly and does more with wide-open spaces than many artists would be able to do with a thirty-party orchestra. The chiaroscuro of light and heavy, piano and vocals is something that is a further cherry on an already impressive track.

As Long As I’m With You features Sascha Dupont; this single looks back to the halcyon days of the 1990s with subtle nods to performers like Sheryl Crow and Natalie Cole. The titular effort from Searching For Lost Boys Island creates a lush panorama of instrumentation, upon which the earthy and passionate vocals of Odsell can interact. The penultimate track is Some Might Say, an effort that has hints of funk and soul with a slower speed. The album concludes with Goodbye, a track that stands as a collection of the different styles and genres that Odsell had previously broached on Searching For Lost Boys Island along with hints and clues about the types of music that he may include on the album’s follow-up.
