SEEP AWAY - Snakes (Single)

The United Kingdom’s SEEP AWAY creates a powerful piece of sludge metal on Snakes that has a bit of early Deftones chugging, the guitar crunch of Black Sabbath, and the distinct vocals that tie up each section. Again, the B-side to Snakes, drops some of the outward heaviness to allow the punkier elements of the band to shine through. This time out, listeners hear a stripped-down sound that has been influenced by The Adicts and The Stranglers. A little bit of 1982 punk here provides proper highlighting to the thrashier sound of Again. A remix of Trudge has SEEP AWAY take up a more industrial style. All together, this is a solid introduction to this U.K. act.
