Warmin’ Up is the first track off of Take The Good With The Bad, the current mixtape by Richmond, Virginia’s F.Low. Take The Good With The Bad (featuring Lady Starr) has a retro sound that permeates the track, while F.low adds to the narrative and overall harmonies achieved here. Lady Starr’s lines add a considerably different feel to the single, giving F.Low’s next bars a nice highlighting.

Thoughts of You is the final track on Take The Good With The Bad, providing fans with a wholly different sound for F.Low. The effort touches upon the R&B and gospel traditions. An additional assist by Lady Starr and SoloDoloric ends this mixtape as strongly as it began. Few artists are able to make an album as compelling as F.Low does here; a number of these stylistically diverse cuts could make the foundation for a bold new album. Here’s to hoping that we hear more from F.Low in the future.
