Spending some time on the Eve Mattress

We were lucky enough to be sent the Eve Mattress all the way from the United Kingdom and were quite surprised that it made the journey in little more than a week. The Box itself was tremendously heavy as one would imagine a mattress in a box would be but to it credit it was a cinch to remove the rolled-up mattress from the box. We thought it was pretty cute that the company included various sayings on the inside of the box, as well. I remember opening the tightly rolled mattress and it looking pretty tiny; the mattress gradually expands to a full size. Over the course of about 4 to 6 hours the mattress gradually grew to the 9 inch size that the company guarantees. The covering that is included on the Eve Mattress ensures that spills or accidents will not stain or otherwise mar the surface.

After the bed reaches its full size and we maneuvered it onto the frame we had chosen, it was time to put on the sheets and give it a few months of testing. The company already warns that that first night may be give purchasers a bit different experience than the typical status quo will be. The material has to off-gas which represents a very smart minor sort of smell, while the mattress itself seems very firm. We were able to get a great night’s sleep something that was a bit rare as our previous foam mattress was only able to last about a year-and-a-half before getting some seriously caved in and worn spots, no matter how many times we flipped or otherwise changed the orientation of the mattress.

The Eve Mattress is able to stand up and keep its form even when somebody is standing or otherwise putting a majority of their weight in a singular spot. The process of moving and flipping the bed is just as easy as traditional mattresses, meaning that two people are more than enough to get the mattress rotated and flipped in a fashion that only takes a few seconds. We were happy that the mattress is flat all the way to the edges, as parents with a toddler, being able to quickly extricate ourselves from a bad is a major consideration for the mattresses we purchase. The space of the bed seems that much larger as there are not any ruffles or an ornate addition included at the edge of the bed. The mattress itself can be placed on a typical frame and in our case was actually lower then our previous foam mattress.

This meant that it was quite easy to get out of bed to check on our daughter or to utilize the restroom. The density of the foam ensures that no matter how one sleeps on the bed or otherwise makes use of the mattress is that the experience has will be consistent as it was when the mattress was first purchased. The Eve Mattress comes in a variety of sizes including twin, full, queen and king size – a California king variant is available as well. Prices for the eve mattress are par for the course when considering a quality mattress, as a Twin Size is $449 (the King Size was $749). The common conception is that one should replace their mattress every 8 to 10 years and we are further assuaged in our fears about that replacement considering that Eve offers a 120 month / 10 year warranty for their mattresses.

The next time you are in the market for a new mattress, give Eve Mattresses a spin.
