In previous times, tech has always been associated with bulky, unfashionable designs and revered by geeks alike. As of late, tech companies are paying close attention to the design of their tech products, shifting the way we see them. We don’t only use them, we WEAR them as well.

We’re always looking for interesting, functional, and elegant tech that’s not only going to increase your productivity, but impress your clients, co-workers, and makes you look cool, too.

Here are some top tech picks for trendsetters in 2018!

Meko Precision Pro Series Fine Point Rechargeable Active Stylus

Are you meeting clients at coffee shops and still using the same old stylus that came with your tablet? Time to ditch that horrible thing!

The Meko Fine Point Rechargeable Active Stylus is one step closer to impressing your clients and peers.

It has a 1.99mm super fine tip, giving you the accuracy, you need for detail-heavy work.

It’s quiet, so you don’t hear those clunky and annoying tapping sounds. It’s made of stainless steel and copper, giving that presentable and elegant finish to the stylus.

You do need to charge this stylus after 8 hours of usage. Keep in mind, this stylus isn’t compatible with Windows System laptops and phones!

Smartphone – Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus

Trust me, there were a lot of contenders to this in the Android arena, but there are a couple of reasons why this phone deserves the spot.

Before we get to the positives, I would like to say that the build quality isn’t as good as many other flagship devices on the market, and for a 6.2-inch display, we would have expected a larger battery than the 3,500mAh it’s powered with.

BUT

The camera on this device is one of the best in the industry. It comes with a 8MP front camera for the selfie lovers out there, and a dual 12MP rear camera for awesome Insta-worthy shots.

The S9 Plus rear camera can switch apertures from f/1.5 to f/2.4 instead of a fixed one like most cameras on other phones. When there isn’t much light, the camera will switch to f/1.5 making low-light shots look great.

The S9 Plus comes with 6GB of RAM and the latest Snapdragon 845 processor. This makes gaming, from Injustice to online casino games at Casumo, a smooth-sailing experience. The S9 Plus’s Super AMOLED 6.2-inch display is extremely bright and vivid, making indoor gaming an immersive experience.

The display is prone to glare when outdoors, unfortunately.

Nokia Steel HR Smartwatch

If you love the functionality of smartwatches, yet you want something that’s more timeless in terms of design, the hybrid smartwatch category is the fit for you!

What makes Nokia Steel HR Smartwatch unique to it’s competitors is the sporting digital display baked into the watch face.

Like most smartwatches, it comes with a fitness tracker, so you can keep an eye on your step counts, calories burned, sleep, and the ability to check your heart rate, which is synchronized with the Nokia Health Mate app, like any other fitness tracker. Unfortunately, this watch doesn’t come with a GPS.

The Nokia Health Mate app has a clean, streamlined UI that makes navigating it easy. It includes a wellness program that includes a series of plans from improving sleep to pregnancy tracker that helps you improve in various aspects of your life.

Tile Pro

Tend to forget where you last placed your keys, or your backpack, for that matter? A Bluetooth tracker might be the best solution for you!

Bluetooth trackers have grown in popularity lately, but out of all of them, I prefer the Tile Pro. The current version has improved drastically from its predecessor.

This includes being waterproof up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes, so you don’t have to worry when you drop your keys in a puddle. It’s also 2x louder and has a larger proximity range.

How does it work? Simple.

Synchronize your new Tile to the smartphone app and attach the piece of hardware to anything you lose easily such as keys, luggage, laptop bag, wallet (we recommend the Tile Slim for this), and so on.

When your item goes missing, press “Find” on the Tile app, and you’ll hear a ringtone you’ve set, and makes it easier for you to locate it.

A feature that makes Tile worth its price is the ability for you to find your missing items with the help of other Tile users. Lost your luggage at the airport? Just tap “Find”, and the nearest Tile user to the lost luggage will be notified and you’ll know where the luggage is.
