Stonecutter is the latest work by Boy Breaking Glass. The nearly six-minute run time of this track allows the act to build a heady composition that will remain resonant in listeners’ ears long after the song ceases to play. There are hints of The Tea Party, Iggy Pop, and The Smiths that can be discerned here. Smart instrumentation bolsters rich vocals to keep interest high. Boy Breaking Glass’s guitar / drum dynamic during Stonecutter is beautiful. Additional plays of the single are required as there are so many twists and turns that have been placed deep within the composition. Take a special look at the dense, brushy arrangements that begin at the four-minute mark.

We last checked in with Boy Breaking Glass during their release of Masquerade .
