ABOUT FLYNNVILLE TRAIN

The Indiana-based group was formed in 2001 by brothers Brian and Brent Flynn.  The band spent several years playing clubs in the Midwest and caught the ear of Richard Young (KHH) who produced some tracks on them.  Toby Keith heard FVT and signed them to his record label, Show Dog Nashville.  They released a self-titled album for the label in the Fall of 2007, which generated two BILLBOARD Hot Country Chart hits–“Last Good Time” and “Nowhere Than Somewhere.”  An amicable parting followed a few years later.  Brian Flynn sings lead vocals and Brent Flynn plays lead guitar and sings harmony.  Tommy Bales has been the driving beat behind the brothers for over 12 years, and in 2009 was voted Number One Up-and-Coming drummer in Modern Drummer magazine.   The group’s newest member, Joseph Shreve, plays bass and brings influences ranging from Rush to Lynyrd Skynyrd.
