Egypt Central Continue Touring, Go Back Home

Memphis, Tennessee’s own EGYPT CENTRAL proudly return home to the Hard Rock Café (315 Beale St, Memphis) on February 16.  This EGYPT CENTRAL show will be FREE to the public, so Memphis should come out to celebrate 10 years of the Hard Rock Café rockin’ Beale Street!  The last time EGYPT CENTRAL performed in their hometown was November 21, 2007, in front of a sellout crowd at the Daisy Theatre. (Capacity: 1000).  Prior to this hometown gig, EGYPT CENTRAL will be doing a CD signing from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Cat’s (1569 Union Ave, 901.274.2287).   Two pairs of VIP tickets will also be given away at the in-store signing!

The Hard Rock Cafe holds 417 so it is an absolute first come, first served evening out with EGYPT CENTRAL, and openers Sore Eyes.  Doors for the event are at 9:00pm, and the show begins at 10:00pm.  The Jagermeister Tour Bus will be onsite to keep the festivities going as well!  So Memphis, come on out and have a great time with your favorite hometown band.  EGYPT CENTRAL, who take their name from a street in their hometown, released their self titled effort, January 15, 2008 through Fat Lady Music.  EGYPT CENTRAL’s release debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Top Heatseakers chart scanning over 2,000 units. National radio airplay continues to build steam, cracking the Top 30 on Nielson BDS chart at #29 and moving to #31 in the Mediabase active rock chart.

EGYPT CENTRAL’s single, ‘You Make Me Sick’ has just been added to regular airplay on KOMP (of Las Vegas, NV) as well as WBZX (of Columbus, OH); joining the massive, and still growing list of rock stations currently blowing up the track. Be sure not to miss this band on this upcoming tour!
