Hangar 18 Gets Ready for Warped Tour

Hope you’re doing well. Just wanted to announce that hip-hop duo
Hangar 18 is hitting the road once again with Warped Tour as part
of their cross-country extravaganza, holding it down the entire
summer as one of the few hip-hop acts among bands like the Bouncing
Souls, Rise Against, Cobra Starship, and Be Your Own Pet.

The group is used to all the traveling: they’ve played as many as
200 dates in the past few years and shared the stage with everyone
from Big Daddy Kane to Madina Lake to Mos Def to El-P, and it’s live
where they’re at their best and most comfortable. With two records
under their belts, including last year’s Sweep the Leg out on
Def Jux — a label that without doubt knows good music — Hangar 18
has plenty to show off, including the crowd-rousing “Baking Soda”
and the quick, energetic “Really Wide.” The tour’s a monster, which
means plenty of opportunities to see them and hear what all the fuss
is about.

As a teaser, here’s a video of Hangar 18 live at the Third Rail
performing “Baking Soda”:
