Porter Robinson Tours Throughout Summer / Fall

Porter, who rose to prominence as one of the world’s most sought-after headline DJs, takes a new direction on ‘worlds’, revealing an aesthetic better suited to the stage than the DJ booth. Porter will showcase the new music at live concert venues such as New York City’s Terminal 5, Washington DC’s 9:30 Club, LA’s Shrine Auditorium and more. The album includes the brand new single “Sad Machine” released last week. The #1 Hype Machine charting song was selected as a top track of the week by both Billboard and Stereogum, who praised the single saying “‘Sad Machine’ splits the difference between M83’s astral splendor and Passion Pit’s hyperactive synth-pop.” ‘Sad Machine’ follows the album’s first single “Sea of Voices” which trended #1 on Facebook when it was leaked to Porter’s fans via Twitter during the Oscars earlier this year and quickly shot to #2 on the iTunes electronic chart and #5 on HypeM, #5 on Spotify’s viral chart. It has surpassed more than 1 million Soundcloud plays to date.

Fans who pre-order ‘worlds’ by 6:00pm EST Wednesday 5/21 will receive an immediate code for the tour pre-sale which is open beginning Tuesday 5/20. This is the only way to get pre-sale access for the upcoming tour, which goes on sale to the general public Thursday 5/22 at 10:00am local time. In addition to the tour access code, fans will also receive free instant downloads for both ‘Sea of Voices’ and ‘Sad Machine’.
