On MONDAY, M.C and Vega HeartBreak are able to make a hopeful sort of rap track that impressives not only becuase of the sick backing beat that is built up, but also because of the thoughtful bars that are presented throughout. There’s a bit of early Outkast that can be heard in the main body of MONDAY, but with some of the most honest and emotional lyrics we’ve experienced this year. The back and forth between these bars and the track’s vocal samples will keep fans’ heads bopping, while the single’s hook is the cherry on top of the sundae.
