The violin that weaves its way through Assia’s latest acts as a way for listeners to be grounded, while the numerous twists and turns that are presented here ensure that the single’s replay value is high. The song tips the scale at 5-plus minutes, but the arrangements are sufficiently robust that one will continue to find new elements within the song’s run time even five or ten plays in. I Dance For Gods has a bit of a middle eastern flair while appreciating the work of performers like Shakira and Whitney Houston.
