Camille K has released a mini-EP with two tracks, Braver and Facade. Braver is a hopeful sort of song that builds upon the tradition of performers like Mariah Carey and Ciara. The carefully-crafted guitars and drums combine to make the most inviting backdrop, while the harmonies achieved by Camille K ensure that the single will have serious replay potential. Facade is our favorite of the two tracks, bringing back the mall pop of the 1980s while adding a modern set of vocals to the mix. Facade’s chorus will bury itself deep into the minds and hearts of listeners in the same way that acts like La Roux and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have in the last 25 years.
