On no contact, Daisy Briggs is able to create some feel-good pop-country music that will immediately draw listeners in. The bit of guitar that plays alongside Daisy’s vox provide a nice backdrop upon which her vocals can shine, while the overall production imbues the backing instrumentation with just neough of late-1990s flair to really separate no contact from the rest of the fare being released this year.
