Ron Brunk’s “Good Morning” is a hopeful effort in the vein of a Cat Stevens or Meatloaf. Brunk’s latest single really shows listeners his range, while the seconding vocals provide further depth to what is a truly immense work. The song has grounding in a much earlier musical tradition, but the brightness of Ron’s vox will speak to anyone that is lucky enough to happen upon his newest video. At a hair over 2:30, Good Morning knows precisely what it wants to do and achieves it in a parsimonious fashion.
We have been lucky enough to dig in to Ron Brunk’s discography over the course of the last few years. In fact, we wrote about Ron Brunk’s Feel The Sunlight, Psycho Warfare, You Make Me Crazy, Sometimes All, Lemon Mountain Manatee, I’m Really Special, Give Yourself To The Lord, Nothing and Be Somebody Reimagined and have sat down for an interview with the performer.
