Lyrics Born Works on “Everywhere at Once”, due out 2/08

LB Â– who recently lent his microphone prowess to that outfitÂ’s critically heralded disc From The Corner To The Block Â– is putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming studio set, Everywhere At Once, which is expected in February 2008.

As anticipation for the upcoming Lyrics Born disc elevates, the acclaimed hip-hop artist will take his incendiary live band to the concert stages this fall on “The Auto Reverse Tour.” A subsequent trek as part of AustraliaÂ’s five-city Parklife Festival will give way to an extensive North American commitment kicking off October 17^th. Beginning with a coveted performance as part of AtlantaÂ’s Echo Music Project, the 25 city run will also reconnect LB with the aforementioned neo-funk pioneers in Galactic for a high profile gig as part of NOLAÂ’s world famous Voodoo Music Experience.

As an original part of the Quannum family, Lyrics Born has been mixing it up as part of the underground hip-hop scene for more than a decade. His 2004 solo debut, Later That Day, earned an abundance of critical praise that sparked interest in the single, Â“Callin OutÂ”, That track held down the number one chart position at Bay Area radio station Live 105 for five weeks.Â

Both the remix CD, Same !@#$, Different Day and the live EP, Overnight Encore, followed, showcasing the versatility of Lyrics Born. Overnight Encore Â– chronicling his ability to work fluidly with a live band Â– was hailed as an amazing and rare live hip-hop record, earning 3 1/2 stars in Rolling Stone.

In 2007, two songs from the Lyrics Born catalog were featured in HBOÂ’s hit TV show Entourage.Â Over the past two years, Lyrics Born has earned his road warrior status performing hundreds of shows at high profile events like Bonnaroo, SXSW, Lollapalooza, Coachella, Vegoose, and Good Vibrations Festival among others.Â
