Magnetic Morning Rises With Debut LP, “AM,” + Fall Tour

“I’ve been trying to write this album for 10 years,” reveals Magnetic Morning’s Sam Fogarino, of the band’s debut LP, A.M., which came out October 21 (Friend or Faux Records). It was ultimately Fogarino’s serendipitous meeting with Adam Franklin of Swervedriver that sealed his fate in this duo.

PRIESTESS ENTER THE STUDIO FOR EARLY 2009 RELEASE

The Montreal foursome Priestess is recording tracks this fall in Los Angeles with producer Dave Schiffman (Anti-Flag, Avenged Sevenfold, System of a Down) for the band’s follow-up to its acclaimed 2006 debut, Hello Master. After leaving the studio, Priestess will tour Canada and the Northeastern U.S. this winter, performing new material from the upcoming album set for an early 2009.

GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE LICENSES UNREAL ENGINE 3

Iconic Japanese developer Grasshopper Manufacture has licensed Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for a new multiplatform action horror game to be published by Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS). The new game is directed by innovative game designer Suda51 and produced by legendary Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.
