V.A. Elaste Vol. 2: Space Disco Set To Release at End of July

In the beginning there was… the Munich Music Machine: when Giorgio Moroder entered the US billboard charts in 1977 with Donna Summers erotic epos titled, “I Feel Love”, a new music style was born. A combination of influences from Motown & Philly Soul to German Electronica & Kraut Rock Giorgio Moroder helped shape a new sound, a sound that still can be considered as one of the blueprints for today’s…

Gustavo Assis-Brasil In Concert (DVD/CD)

Gustavo Assis-Brasil may not be well known outside of the very technically-based fans of jazz guitar. This is due to the fact that ey is seen as a founder of the hybrid picking technique for the guitar, which occurs when an individual uses both a pick and their fingers to play notes. If individuals are familiar with the works of masters such as Wayne Krantz, Dave Fiuczynski, and Mick Goodrick,…

The Lodge (DVD)

I love the fact that there seems to be more horror movies on the market than there ever have, and I especially love the fact that Monarch Home Video sent The Lodge as their first film to be reviewed. The Lodge was brought forth by the Brothers Shamus, who have made their splash into the directing pool with this film. The general premise of The Lodge is that a couple…

G.G. Elvis and the TCP Band – A Punk Elvis Tribute (CD)

Wikipedia puts G.G. Elvis and the TCP Band as a nardcore act. While I had no idea what nardcore was (essentially, it is a brand of punk rock that originally was present in acts from the Oxnard city of California. Saying that, the G.G. Elvis and the TCP Band is an all-star band in sorts, as it consists of members of Ill Repute, Aggression, Nofx, and the Bad Samaritans. The…

New School Metal Inspired by Classic Old School, Archer is the Next Generation of Scorching Hard Rock

It’s about time.  After the calculated hair band years, followed by dour grunge, then formulaic emo-screamo, true metal is back, led by a new generation of hard rockers, with Santa Cruz’s Archer at the forefront. Formed earlier this decade, this real deal power trio features singer-guitarist Dylan, bassist Isaiah and drummer Jimmy, unleashing full fury and cathartic celebration with raw gusto combined with ever-growing musicianship on stage.

Petz Dogz Fashion (DS)

Petz Dogz Fashion provides players with a number of different things to do. Of course, players will have to pick their own puppy and give them a number of different fashion accessories, but the game does not end with that. What is much more interesting in my opinion would have to be the mini games that are present, allowing you to take your dog out and play a virtual game…
